EDUCATION & PARTNERSHIPS
In-services, workshops, and screenings.
Pelvic floor and performing arts rehab are two areas where good information is unevenly distributed. Dancers are told to push through; clinicians are handed a Kegel sheet. I teach the version I wish I’d had earlier.
All sessions are delivered virtually, so distance isn’t a constraint — I can work with a studio in Paducah as easily as one in Louisville.
WHO I WORK WITH
Universities & dance programs
Injury prevention and pelvic health education for student dancers, plus training for the faculty and staff who see them every day.
Dance & performing arts studios
Pre-pointe screening blocks, teacher education on safe progression, and load management across competition or performance season.
Clinics & PT practices
Staff in-services for therapists who want to recognize pelvic floor involvement or treat performing artists with more confidence.
TOPICS
What I teach.
Sessions are built for your group rather than delivered off a shelf. Common requests:
Pelvic floor 101 for dancers and performers
Recognizing pelvic floor involvement in orthopaedic patients
Pre-pointe readiness — screening and progression
Hip and ankle injury prevention for dancers
Load management across a performance season
Return-to-stage criteria after injury
Talking about pelvic health without making it awkward
Pregnancy, postpartum, and returning to performance
FORMATS
How it runs.
Lecture or in-service
45–60 minutes, delivered live over video. Best for staff meetings and faculty development.
Workshop
Half or full day, movement-based, with your group working in your own studio while I lead over video.
Screening block
A scheduled run of individual video screenings — pre-pointe readiness or pre-season assessment — with a written summary for each participant.
Ongoing partnership
Regular sessions across a term or season, with a consistent point of contact for your dancers or staff.
RATES
Quoted per engagement.
Education work is priced by format, length, and group size rather than from a fixed list — a single staff in-service and a screening block for forty dancers aren’t the same job.
Tell me roughly what you have in mind — group, size, and what you want them to walk away with — and I’ll come back with a straightforward quote.
Bring it to your dancers or your team.
One session or a whole season, wherever in Kentucky you are.
